Together with the Sommelier and the chef, you are going to work on wine-food pairing. In this way, you will challenge your taste palette and gives you the opportunity to come up with perfect wine/food pairing. You will learn all the ins and outs about being a sommelier from our experts.
You will also visit several tastings to expand and improve our wine list. Together with the team, you will be responsible for the stock counting and keeping track of the wine storage.
Last but not least, you will provide the most hospitable service and make sure all our guests enjoy the food in Bridges in combination with our beautiful wines and their stories.

Our team is young and full with passion and motivation. The Grand highly values personal and professional growth, therefore, we have a full time trainings manager who contributes do your development. Not only during, but also after your internship, we see possibilities and career opportunities. You also have the possibility to do various cross trainings in different departments to broaden your hotel knowledge.
The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive travel allowance. Every day you can enjoy a meal in our staff canteen, free of charge.
Do you like to go out for dinner and drinks? Good! You will get 50% F&B discount in our restaurants.

What you will bring to the role
- You’re following a hospitality or gastronomic study
- You are looking for an internship for minimum 5 months
- You speak English on a business level
- You are eager and motivated to learn more about wines
- Having Wset 2 or a similar certificate is a plus
