General Manager Trainee

GENERAL MANAGEMENT TRAINEE

 

You are the point of contact for the operational departments within the hotel and, more importantly, for our guests, and you radiate that! You provide them with all the information they need and greet them with your warm smile. Every day, you also walk around the rooms to check that everything looks perfect for today's arrivals.

 

In addition, you motivate and coach your colleagues to deliver the top-notch service our guests have come to expect. As coordinator in an emergency, you remain calm and composed. With your eye for detail, you never miss a thing and ensure a safe working environment for guests and colleagues. You also help out when it's busy at the Front Office, respond to online reviews from our guests, and know exactly what needs to be done to exceed our guests' expectations.

 

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE?

 

• You are on your last year of study in Hotel/ Hospitality Management
• You have experience in managing a shift and are ready for the next step.
• You are proactive, creative, and a born team player.
• You enjoy hard work and are not afraid to take responsibility.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, preferably another language as well.
• You are flexible in terms of availability; mornings, evenings, or nights; you enjoy it all.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS? That is a nice bonus!

• As a HBO student you will receive an internship allowance based on €750 gross per month full-time, which consists of €670 internship allowance and €80 expense allowance. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, depending on the number of days worked and hours worked. So one month you get a little less and the next month a little more.
