As Director of Operations at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, you will

• Oversee daily operations across the main operational departments ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Uphold and promote the Sofitel brand standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in all guest interactions.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging professional development and team engagement.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices, especially within F&B.

What you will bring the the role

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership
• role within a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch and other languages is a plus.
