About the role:

We're looking for a Cultural & Community Manager who can bring our brand to life in every guest interaction and cultural activation. You will be the bridge between NYX Hotel and Amsterdam's creative scene - curating partnerships, programming events, and ensuring every touchpoint is on-brand, memorable, and infused with the NYX spirit.

What you will do

• Curate Cultural Collaborations – Identify, approach, and manage partnerships with local and international artists, musicians, designers, and creative communities.
• Bring the Brand to Life – Apply NYX brand values and standards across all guest touchpoints, from lobby experiences to special events.
• Event Programming – Co-host and coordinate art exhibitions, music performances, pop-up installations, and cultural happenings in collaboration with creative communities.
• Collaborate with our F&B and hotel teams to keep the energy high and authentic across all touchpoints
• Influencer & Press Engagement – Work with the marketing team to prepare and host influencer stays, press visits, and brand activations that reflect NYX's creative DNA.
• Community Building – Act as the face of NYX Hotel within Amsterdam's cultural landscape, building strong relationships and staying ahead of trends.
• On-Brand Guest Experience – Ensure your team delivers unique, brand-aligned guest experiences throughout the entire journey.

Who You Are

• 2-3 years experience in hospitality, event programming, cultural management, or the art/music scene.
• An established network in Amsterdam's art, music, and creative communities.
• A visionary with an eye for detail and strong creative instincts.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Naturally social, with the ability to build trust and foster collaborations.
• Passionate about art, music, and lifestyle - and eager to share that passion with others.
• You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments (and yes, nights and weekends are part of the fun).
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a big plus)
