Our team is young and full with passion and motivation. The Grand highly values personal and professional growth, therefore, we have a full time trainings manager who contributes do your development. Not only during, but also after your internship, we see possibilities and career opportunities. You also have the possibility to do various cross trainings in different departments to broaden your hotel knowledge.
The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive travel allowance. Every day you can enjoy a meal (for free) in our staff canteen.
Do you like to go out for dinner and drinks? Good! You will get 50% F&B discount in our restaurants.

During your internship as a Quality Manager, you take on a Supervisory role in our Housekeeping team. Tasks will include assisting the Housekeeping Manager, checking rooms, making schedules, assisting the international team with all sorts of queries. Moreover, you have direct contact with the Technical department and Front Office to ensure our Sofitel standards are met. During this internship, you learn how to ensure high and consistent quality in a luxury 5 star hotel in Amsterdam.

The international hotel is part of the Accor Hospitality Netherlands Group. Housed in the former town hall of Amsterdam, The Grand offers 179 rooms, of which 52 are suites. The Grand also features 19 InspiredMeeting rooms, an urban spa, Garden Bistro Oriole and a fine dining restaurant restaurant, Bridges.

What you will bring to the role
- Your internship should be for a minimum period of 5 months or longer.
- Enrolled in a hospitality study.
- Work in an accurate manner with attention to detail.
- Willing to learn, show initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
