Social Media Intern

We are a dynamic and international hotel chain with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality across our network of hotels and restaurants in the Benelux region. Our marketing team is dedicated to bringing our brand to life through innovative and engaging social media strategies. This is where you come in! We want to expand our online community and social media cannot be left behind on this journey. 

Your Role & Responsibilities 

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and brand promotion. The main working location will be at the Leonardo Hotel Rembrandtpark in Amsterdam, but you will also travel with the social media marketer to various locations across the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as working from home. 

• Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, like TikTok and Instagram. 
• Support in copywriting and publishing content across social media channels. 
• Engage with our online community and stay on top of influencers and partners mentioning our brand 
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and content planning. 
• Support with statistic reporting and other social media-related projects. 
• Learn how to effectively represent a hotel brand through social media. 
• Support in creating online marketing materials. 

 

Are you the perfect candidate? 

• You are a student looking for an internship for your study. 
• You live and breathe social media, and you are trend-aware: sounds, formats, viral concepts, memes, aesthetics. 
• You're an outgoing personality who's not afraid to be on camera or to brainstorm bold ideas. 
• You are eager to learn, flexible, and proactive with a hands-on mentality. 
• You are creative, curious, and passionate about content creation and social media trends. 
• You're detail-oriented and understand the basics of visual storytelling and aesthetics. 
• You are fluent in English with strong communication skills (bonus points if you have a basic understanding of Dutch) 
• You are available 32-38 hours per week. 

Bonus points 

• You enjoy posting on TikTok and/or Instagram (we'd love to see your content!). 
• You know how to hook an audience within the first 3 seconds. 
• You have experience with photography & videography. 
• You are skilled with editing tools and apps. 
• You have a driver's license
